This fall, Reading People invites you to read and discuss Magnifica Humanitas, the latest Encyclical Letter from Pope Leo XIV.

In Magnifica Humanitas, Pope Leo XIV reflects on what it means to safeguard the dignity of the human person in an age of rapidly advancing artificial intelligence. The letter explores faith, technology, human dignity, social responsibility, the common good, work, freedom, and what it means to remain deeply human in a changing world.

This is an opportunity to read beyond our usual books and engage with a thought-provoking work that invites us to consider some very current questions: How do we navigate technological change while preserving human dignity? What does our faith have to say about the way technology shapes our lives and communities? And how can we use new tools in ways that serve the common good?
