Baptism at Grace

At Grace, aligning with our United Methodist theology, we believe that baptism is a sacrament, which means that it's an outward sign of an inward grace. We believe God's grace is poured out on us, as a free gift. The ordinary substance of water is transformed into an extraordinary outpouring of God's forgiveness, cleansing, renewal, and promise of an eternally unfolding relationship of divine love.

If you have not already been baptized, we want you to know that everyone is welcome to receive this gift and enter into a deeper relationship with God and with the faith community. We would love to have the privilege of participating not only in the moment of baptism but in a baptismal life shared with you!

If you are interested in being baptized yourself or bringing a beloved child for baptism, please contact us at the church office to schedule a date during Sunday morning worship or to invite the church community to gather together at an alternate time, if you prefer baptism by immersion in a pool, creek, or lake.
